Power tower

2021-05-19

Electric towers are trapezoidal or triangular tower-shaped buildings, usually 25-40 meters in height, and are of steel frame structure. Electric towers are mostly built near power plants and distribution stations in the wild. They are an important facility for the power sector. They can overhead power lines and play a role of protection and support. The design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and quality inspection of power towers are important guarantees for the operation and development of modern power systems.
1. The high-voltage line tower is divided into a linear tower and a tensile tower. The corner tower is a kind of tensile tower, and the cat head tower is a kind of linear tower;
2. It looks like a straight tower, the insulator is a cathead tower suspended vertically, and the insulator is horizontal, which is used to prevent the link tower from falling down and the line turning, etc.;
3. The voltage depends on the number of insulators, 1-2 pieces: 10KV, 3-5 pieces, 35KV, 7 pieces 110KV, 14-16 pieces 220KV, 28 pieces 500KV. ;
Electric tower fence
In order to prevent the theft of wires or the climbing of extreme people, protect the surroundings of the electrical tower. Provide effective preventive measures, hereby increase the fence (guardrail). Effectively eliminate potential safety hazards.
Purse net specifications: 60*60*3.0; 50*50*3.0; 60*60*5.0;

How many power poles do you know?

There are only a few common poles and towers, and there are different classifications.
First, let's talk about the font tower:
1. Dry font tower
The "gan" character tower is named after the Chinese character "gan". It is a common tower type on both DC and AC transmission lines. Mostly linear towers are also common tensile & corner towers for ≥220 kV transmission lines.
2. The upper font tower
Only one overhead ground wire is erected on the tower, and the conductor is arranged in an asymmetrical triangle, and its shape is "upper". It is suitable for lines with small conductor cross-sections in light thunder and light ice areas, and is often used for power lines with voltage levels of 110 kV and below.
3. Gate-shaped tower
As the name suggests, the pole tower that uses two columns to support the conductors and overhead ground wires is like a big "door".
This kind of tower is more applicable, and it is more economical when it has a cable. It is often used in the situation where double overhead ground wires and conductors are arranged horizontally. It is generally used for lines ≥220 kV. The cable can be used to improve the tower`s performance. Stability, the column sometimes has a certain slope.
4. V-shaped tower
The guyed V-shaped tower, a special case of the gate-shaped tower, is shaped like a "V" and comes with "big V certification", so it is easy to identify in the wilderness.
It is easy to construct and consumes less steel than other guyed gate towers, but it occupies a large area and is restricted to use in river networks and large-scale mechanical farming areas. It is commonly used in 500 kV lines, and it is also used in a small amount in 220 kV.
5. T-shaped tower
The tower is in the shape of a "T", with two transmission lines hanging underneath, with one positive pole and one negative pole. It is the main tower for direct current transmission. Look carefully at the tower, there are two small "corners" on the tower, and there is also a ground wire on each side. "Lightning line".
After talking about the font tower, let's talk about the pictogram tower:
1. Wine glass tower
Two overhead ground wires are erected on the tower, the wires are arranged on a horizontal plane, and the tower is shaped like a wine glass.
Seeing this, some friends may not feel like it.
In fact, the correct way of abstraction looks like this:
It is usually a common tower type for 220 kV and above power transmission lines. It has good construction and operation experience, and is especially suitable for heavy ice or mine areas.
2. Cat head tower
Cathead tower is a kind of high-voltage power transmission linear tower. Two overhead ground wires are erected on the tower, the conductors are arranged in an isosceles triangle, and the tower shape is cathead-shaped.
In other words, this product can be regarded as realistic in the abstract school. Please forgive me for my bohemian style.
Another high-definition close-up:
It is also a common tower type for transmission lines with voltage levels of 110 kV and above. Its advantage is that it can effectively save line corridors.
3. Shofar Tower
The shofar tower is a type of transmission tower, named after its image resembling a shofar. Generally used for tensile towers.
As for the horns, see the picture:
4. Drum Tower
Drum tower is a common tower type for double-circuit transmission lines. Three wires on the left and right sides of the tower form a three-phase AC line.
The three wires of a circuit are all arranged in the top, middle and bottom, among which the middle wire protrudes outward from the top and bottom two wires, so that the outline of the six wires is similar to the protruding drum body, hence the name drum tower.
To put it simply, the outline of the wire suspension point is arranged in a drum shape and named after it.
Don`t doubt, it`s better to look at it this way~
The drum-shaped tower is suitable for areas with heavy icing, which can avoid the occurrence of flashover accidents when the wires are deicing and jumping.
