The luminous decay of LED street lights means that after a period of time, the light intensity is lower than before. The factors that affect LED light decay are directly related to temperature and are determined by chips, phosphors and packaging technology.

The following are two major factors that affect Led Street Light degradation:

1. The quality of the LED product itself: the LED chip used is not of good physical condition, and the brightness decays quickly; in addition, there are defects in the production process, and the heat dissipation of the LED chip cannot be well derived from the PIN pin, which causes the high temperature of the LED chip to increase the chip attenuation .

2. Use condition problem: LED is driven by constant current, and some LEDs are driven by voltage to make the LED attenuate; the driving current is greater than the rated driving conditions.

In fact, among the many factors that affect the light decay of LED street lamp products, the most critical one is the heat problem, because many manufacturers do not pay special attention to the problem of heat dissipation in secondary products, which causes the degree of light decay of LED products to be more LED products that focus on heat dissipation are much higher.

In addition, the thermal resistance of the LED chip itself, the influence of silver glue, the heat dissipation effect of the substrate, and the colloid and gold wire are also related to light decay.
